Responsibilities

• Assist with Human Resources in hiring kettle workers.
• Supervise kettle workers and drivers.
• Develop and maintain schedules for kettle workers and drivers.
• Place kettle workers at work sites in Salem and surrounding areas.
• Assist in collecting payroll timesheets from kettle workers.
• Handle correspondence concerning kettle workers.
• Coordinate volunteers for kettle sites with the volunteer coordinator.
• Maintain security for kettles and distributions.
• Deliver counter kettles to collection sites using official vehicles.
• Develop communications with sites and their representatives.
• Track kettle locations in stores and restaurants.
• Arrange kettle pickup using official vehicles.
• Follow up correspondence after Christmas.
• Maintain professional image of The Salvation Army.
• Support the mission of The Salvation Army at all times.
