Job summary

The Salvation Army Northern Division Brainerd is hiring a Kettle Coordinator for the Red Kettle Campaign. This seasonal role manages bell ringers and kettle drivers, overseeing scheduling, placement, data entry, and inquiries during the holiday season in Brainerd.

Responsibilities include hiring and training staff, tracking hours, and ensuring equipment functions while providing excellent donor service. This on-site position ends around December 25, 2026.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must pass background checks and have a valid driver’s license with MVR requirements.
• Flexible interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with PC, Microsoft Office, databases and standard office equipment.
• Works with integrity and honesty.

Responsibilities

• Hire and onboard bell ringers and kettle drivers and provide necessary training.
• Manage time sheets for paid bell ringers and drivers.
• Share daily schedules and resolve scheduling issues.
• Oversee kettle placement and pickup; visit locations to thank volunteers.
• Data entry and tracking statistics for collections and hours.
• Assist with route coverage as needed to ensure smooth operations.
