Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Kettle Driver for Kalispell, MT for the holiday season. This temporary, non-exempt position runs Monday through Saturday with split shifts, starting around November 20 and continuing through December 24.

You will drive routes, set up kettles, monitor locations, and support Bell Ringers under the Commanding Officers. A valid MT driver’s license and 3+ years of licensed driving are required, along with the ability to lift 30–50 pounds and pass the driving test and

Qualifications

Must possess a valid Montana State driver’s license.
Must have at least 3 years of experience as a licensed driver.
Must pass The Salvation Army’s driving test and Motor Vehicles Records check.
Must be willing to continually lift 30 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Overview the daily kettle schedule as given to you by the Commanding Officers.
Drive route daily delivering Bell Ringers or meeting Bell Ringers at their assigned post.
Monitor a Kettle at an assigned location; ensure kettle is never left unattended; secure kettle and funds.
Help form the daily schedule of workers and provide input on results and observations.
Instruct Bell Ringers daily on responsibilities and breaks; perform welfare checks during shifts.
