Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory in Kalispell, MT is seeking a Kettle Driver for the holiday season. This temporary, non-exempt position supports bell ringing routes, maintains kettle security, and helps with food and toy program pickups.

You'll drive daily routes Monday through Saturday, with shifts up to 40 hours per week, starting November 20th through December 24th, reporting to Corps Officer. Prior driving experience and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Valid MT driver's license required.
• Minimum 3 years of licensed driving experience.
• Must pass Salvation Army driving test and MVR check.
• Ability to lift 30–50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive Bell Ringers and collection buckets to locations according to routes.
• Monitor kettles at assigned locations to ensure security and unattended is avoided.
• Assist in forming daily worker schedules and provide feedback on results.
• Instruct Bell Ringers on duties and breaks.
• Perform welfare checks and note any violations observed.
• End of shift, secure bucket and equipment.
• Report issues to Commanding Officers promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
