Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Kettle Coordinator to run the Red Kettle Campaign. You will recruit and schedule volunteer bell ringers, manage sign-ups, and handle kettles and deposits with a focus on community outreach.

Strong customer service, organization, and driving responsibilities are essential. This role supports year‑round assistance programs and the mission of Do the Most Good in the community.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating volunteers and events.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage scheduling and outreach to volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Recruit volunteer bell ringers and groups and set dates/times/locations.
• Contact volunteers to schedule ringing times via phone or email.
• Manage the campaign website for volunteer sign-ups (if applicable).
• Sort kettle money with volunteers per guidelines and transfer to bank.
• Drop off and pick up kettles; promote ringing opportunities in the community.
• Coordinate with store managers and report deposits to Field Rep weekly.
