Job summary

The Salvation Army in Susanville, CA is seeking a Seasonal Assistant to support kettle campaigns, toy and food drives, and volunteer coordination. You will recruit and train volunteers, manage kettle locations and equipment, tally funds, and assist with end-of-season tasks.

Responsibilities

• Secure and manage kettle locations and ensure documentation per policy.
• Recruit, train, and schedule volunteer kettle workers and monitor attendance.
• Assist with counting and depositing kettle funds; manage equipment and inventory.
• Support end-of-season tasks, including reporting, and volunteer hours submission.
• Assist with food and toy drives and related distribution activities.
• Provide office support and adapt to other duties as assigned.
