Qualifications

• Must have previous wrestling experience.
• Must work with other sports as a complement to the Athletic Department.
• Strong leadership in player and staff development, sportsmanship, integrity, and character.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and coach students to develop wrestling skills and contribute to the educational program.
• Use varied instructional techniques and media to meet athletes' needs.
• Manage and supervise practices and competitions to promote growth, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
• Align coaching efforts within the program and coordinate a feeder system.
• Set performance criteria and evaluate student abilities regularly.
• Protect student-athletes, equipment, and facilities.
• Coordinate scheduling of competitions with the athletic director.
• Continuously evaluate and adjust the coaching program as needed.
