Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively communicate, orally and in writing, with students, parents, staff and the community.
• Ability to follow directions from athletic director and perform duties with awareness of district requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coaches middle school basketball, planning game strategies and practices.
• Holds organizational meetings to recruit participants and schedules practices and facilities.
• Monitors students' academic performance to ensure eligibility and supports academic standards.
• Contributes to a safe and encouraging environment and communicates with parents as needed.
• Maintains equipment, inventory, and uniforms and coordinates with the athletic director.
