Job summary

Murray's Cheese seeks a Seasonal Receiver for Grand Central, NYC. You will receive, organize, and manage store inventory, ensuring product quality and accurate records. This role involves data entry, basic math, and physical tasks such as lifting.

Position is seasonal, starting mid-October 2026 and ending mid-January 2027, with weekly pay and product discounts. Prior receiving or inventory experience is preferred; Excel skills helpful.

Qualifications

• 1+ year receiving or inventory management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is helpful.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming products and verify counts.
• Data entry for product transfers in NetSuite.
• Store products at proper temperatures and apply FIFO/LIFO.
• Communicate with vendors and store teams by phone/email.
• Perform stock rotations and monthly counts.
• Process invoices and adjust totals.
• Stock and organize back area.
• Perform other duties as required.
