Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking a Seasonal Inventory Control Associate to support Receiving and Inventory Control, ensuring the sales floor remains stocked and ready to serve customers.

You will handle inbound/outbound inventory, verify deliveries, and maintain organized stock areas while adhering to loss prevention and company guidelines. This role requires attention to detail and teamwork in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Foster a service and selling culture and build customer relationships.
• Process all incoming/outbound inventory with accuracy.
• Verify deliveries are compliant and accurate to company standards.
• Prepare merchandise for the selling floor and follow ticketing/signage guidelines.
• Place EAS tags on merchandise before moving to the sales floor, per Loss Prevention guidelines.
• Input freight information timely and accurately in the systems.
• Execute RTVs, transfers, re-tickets or markdowns per policy.
• Maintain UPH targets and high productivity.
• Keep the stock room neat, organized, and compliant with company/state guidelines.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Demonstrate professionalism in communication and teamwork with customers and partners.

Responsibilities

• Foster a service and selling culture; exceed overall expectations to build long-standing customer relationships.
• Process all incoming/outbound inventory with accuracy.
• Verify all merchandise deliveries are compliant and accurate to Company standards.
• Ensure all merchandise is prepared for the selling floor and complies with all company ticketing and signage guidelines.
• Place EAS tags on merchandise before moving it to the sales floor in accordance with Loss Prevention guidelines.
• Ensure the timely and accurate input for all freight information through the appropriate systems.
• Execute all RTVs, orders, transfers, re-tickets or mark downs efficiently and timely to Company policies and procedures.
• Ensure a high level of productivity through attainment of units per hour (UPH) targets.
• Maintain a neat and orderly stock room that is compliant with all Company/State guidelines.
• Adhere to all local, federal and state laws in addition to Company policies, procedures, and practices.
• Perform any other duties that may be assigned by management.
• Demonstrate high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, teammates, corporate partners and vendors.
