Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking a Seasonal Inventory Control Associate to support Receiving and Inventory Control. You will help keep the sales floor stocked and ensure accurate merchandise flow while following company procedures.

This role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to Loss Prevention guidelines, with a focus on timely processing of inventory and contributing to a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Foster a service and selling culture; exceed expectations to build long‑standing customer relationships.
• Process all incoming/outbound inventory with accuracy.
• Verify all merchandise deliveries are compliant and accurate to Company standards.
• Ensure all merchandise is prepared for the selling floor and complies with ticketing and signage guidelines.
• Place EAS tags on merchandise before moving it to the sales floor per Loss Prevention guidelines.
• Input freight information timely and accurately through the appropriate systems.
• Execute RTVs, orders, transfers, re-tickets or markdowns per Company policies.
• Maintain productivity with UPH targets.
• Keep a neat, orderly stock room compliant with Company/State guidelines.
• Adhere to local, federal and state laws and Company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Demonstrate professionalism in communication and teamwork with customers, teammates and vendors.
