Vail Health Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented Pre-Registration/Admitting staff member to join our outpatient scheduling team. The role involves verifying patient demographics and insurance details to create pre-registration encounters for scheduled procedures, and coordinating with clinic staff to ensure accurate, timely data entry.

Responsibilities include handling incoming calls, creating complete Pre-Registration accounts, and maintaining clear communication with patients and staff.

Competenze

• Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette.
• Previous admitting or clerical experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Computer/Typing: must possess or obtain within 90 days basic computer skills to complete online learning, access forms and policies, and complete benefits enrollment.
• Must have working knowledge of English (reading, writing, speaking).

Schedules outpatient Imaging and Cardiopulmonary testing in a timely and efficient manner. Verifies patient demographics and Insurance details to create Pre-Registration Encounters for all Scheduled Procedures.

Computer / Typing: Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc. Office-level typing and computer skills are required.

Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.

Pay is based upon relevant education and experience per hour.
