Job summary

UPS is seeking an HR professional to lead talent acquisition, employee relations, and compliance across designated operations. The role requires close proximity to UPS locations, delivering on HR initiatives, onboarding/offboarding activities, and on-site learning facilitation.

The position emphasizes building relationships, clear communications, and supporting organizational change to meet business goals, with travel to recruitment events as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Exceptional oral, written, and interactive communication skills.
• Skilled in effective research tactics with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality.
• Ability to convey a positive and professional image to internal and external customers.
• Ability to travel to support recruiting events/operations initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Promotes highly effective relationships between HR and Operations partners, recruiting organizations, external customers, and peers to share accountability and provide valued support for achieving business goals.
• Composes clear communications of HR processes, changes, or updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Promotes organizational change and cultural transformation to ensure the organization’s strategic and tactical initiatives are effectively executed.
• Demonstrates a thorough knowledge base, consistent time management skills, and strong organizational skills to provide an effective consultative partnership with business management.
• Develops effective tools to organize, prioritize, delegate, and create solutions to meet HR initiatives in a timely manner.
