SKI NY-SKIPA EXPO - Ski Areas of New York, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Human Resources Coordinator for the winter season, based in Windham, NY. The role focuses on HR administration, onboarding, and staff support in a fast-paced, indoors environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating interviews, managing records, assisting with housing, uniforms, and engagement events. Must be able to work weekends and holidays throughout the season with hours fluctuating based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; HRIS experience preferred.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous administrative experience required; HR experience preferred.
• Knowledge of labor laws and HR practices is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background and MVR checks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for team members, applicants, and visitors.
• Manage HR phone, email, and employee inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Coordinate interviews, onboarding, orientations, and training programs.
• Maintain employee records and assist with HRIS administration, reporting, and troubleshooting.
• Process workers’ compensation paperwork and maintain required compliance records.
• Manage employee uniform inventory, ordering, distribution, and tracking.
• Assist with staff housing administration, agreements, and occupancy records.
• Support recruiting efforts, career fairs, and community hiring events.
• Assist with employee engagement activities and company events.
• Maintain accurate permitted driver records.
• Perform general administrative and departmental support duties as assigned.
