Job summary

Liberty Tax is seeking a Human Resources Assistant for a seasonal role in our Human Resources department. You will support day-to-day HR operations, act as a first point of contact for seasonal hiring leaders, and help maintain HR data and processes.

The position emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and teamwork within a fast-paced franchise environment across the U.S. and Canada. You will report to the Senior HR Business Partner.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in HR or related field preferred.
• 1+ years of demonstrated work experience in Human Resources.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of confidentiality.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to work with all levels of management and team members; maintain confidential data.

• Processing new hire forms.
• Completing employment verifications as required.
• Updating HR information on internal website as required.
• Maintaining employee files.
• Assisting with the day-to-day operation of the HR office.
