Job summary

Speedway Motorsports' Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, NC seeks a Christmas Setup Crew Member to install and tear down the Speedway Christmas Light Show. This short-term assignment runs from October 13 through November 20 for setup and January 4 through January 15 for teardown, with potential to join the Events Operations Part-time Crew after 2027.

Ideal candidates will be reliable, capable of outdoor work in all weather, experienced with hand/power tools, and able to communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety practices and hazard recognition.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather.
• Experience in event operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Speedway Christmas setup (Mon–Sat, 8am–4:30pm).
• Duties include wiring of light displays and other setup tasks.
• Perform visual maintenance/inspection on equipment.
• Assist with teardown after the event.
• Support other departments as needed.
