Job summary

Brite Nites in Charlotte, NC seeks seasonal Christmas Lighting Installers to build and install holiday lighting on homes and commercial buildings. You will work on ladders up to 32 ft, in two-person crews, with training provided.

This seasonal, full-time role runs roughly 3–4 months with biweekly pay and housing assistance for out-of-area candidates. Prior experience not required; reliable, able to work in cold and adverse weather is key.

We’re currently hiring seasonal Lighting Technicians for our 2026 season.

Overview of Work

What the work is actually like—read this carefully:

• Outside all day in cold, rain, and sometimes snow.
• 10+ hour days, 6 days a week during peak season.
• On ladders and roofs daily—must be comfortable at heights.
• Physical work: climbing, carrying equipment, repetitive overhead work.
• Season compressed: ~3–4 months of intense work (potential for extended season).

Compensation & Schedule

Pay: $1,200–$1,800 per week depending on experience and role. Schedule: Full‑time seasonal, training starts September 2026.

Training: Provided—no prior Christmas lighting experience needed.

Responsibilities

• Install Christmas lighting on homes and commercial buildings.
• Work on ladders (up to 32 ft), roofs, and occasionally in trees or on cherry pickers.
• Hang, clip, and staple light strands along rooflines, trees, and structures.
