Job summary

UPS is seeking a Seasonal Supervisor who will supervise, train, develop and lead workgroups accountable for safety, production and attendance. The role establishes high standards for productivity, accuracy and customer service, while fostering a cooperative, proactive team.

Strong leadership will coordinate with all levels of staff to sustain continuous improvement. Responsibilities include maintaining safety compliance, coaching staff, and optimizing resources to maximize output and efficiency

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or international equivalent preferred.
Must be able to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
Management experience preferred.
Strong communication skills; able to work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
Facilitates training with new and current employees.
Ensures safety policies and procedures are followed and compliant with requirements.
Manages department resources to maximize output, accuracy and efficiency.
Establishes and promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Implements personal development plans for department personnel.
