Job summary

UPS seeks a strong supervisor to lead safety, production, and attendance in a fast-paced warehouse setting. You will train teams, develop staff, and uphold high standards for productivity, accuracy, and customer service.

This role focuses on creating collaborative relationships across levels and driving continuous improvement. Key duties include assigning resources, coaching staff, and ensuring compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Leadership/management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Ensures employees adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times, complying with department, station, corporate and local requirements.
• Manages department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Establishes a positive, team-oriented work environment emphasizing involvement, proactive communication, cross-department collaboration, and continual improvement.
• Implements personal development plans to support ongoing growth of department personnel.
• Ensures orientation, training materials, and regular evaluations for all department employees.
