Job summary

The Trustees of Reservations in Beverly, MA, seeks a Seasonal Signature Event Assistant for Long Hill. You’ll support Halloween on the Hill with visitor services, retail, check-in, concessions, and parking, ensuring safety and a welcoming experience for guests.

The role runs October 1–30, with shifts Wednesday–Sunday and some additional hours for setup/breakdown. Prior retail or guest-services experience is a plus; a valid driver’s license may be required.

Qualifications

• Excellent “people skills” to inspire, motivate, and work cooperatively with the public and volunteers.
• Retail or customer service experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to complete tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple duties.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends is required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support visitor services during event days, including retail, check-in, concessions, parking, and safety.
• Provide exemplary external and internal customer service.
• Bring a fun spirit and assist the Halloween on the Hill team for a successful event.
• Assist with event setup in September and breakdown in November when possible.
