Job summary

The Trustees of Reservations in Beverly, MA, seeks a Signature Events Steward to support Halloween on the Hill at Long Hill. The role runs from August through November, with event days October 1–30 and setup/breakdown preceding and following.

You will work under the Property Director and Event Manager, assisting with lights, sets, decorations, and visitor services, including admissions, concessions, parking, and safety, with evenings and weekends required.

Qualifications

• Excellent people skills to lead, inspire, motivate, and work cooperatively with staff, volunteers, committees, members, and the public.
• Retail or customer service experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proven ability to complete tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong commitment to The Trustees' mission.
• Willingness to bring creative energy and fun spirit.
• Ability to work nights and weekends is required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform installation of lights, sets, and decorations for Halloween on the Hill.
• Support visitor services on event days, including retail, welcoming visitors, check-in, concessions, parking, and safety.
• Collaborate with the Halloween on the Hill team to deliver a successful family-focused event.
