Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain clean, attractive guestrooms and provide courteous service to guests in a Colorado-based property. This role requires physical stamina and strong communication with guests and team members.

The position is hourly and part of the hotel housekeeping team, offering comprehensive benefits for full-time associates, including health insurance and retirement plan options. Prior hotel experience is preferred."

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift/cushion objects.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
• Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart setup.
• Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
• Keep all hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed.
• Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day's use.
• Replenish chemical bottles.
• Report missing items from room to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Handle items for Lost and Found according to standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
