Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company is seeking a Guest Services Supervisor for the Silver Baron Lodge front desk in Deer Valley. You will support the front office manager, supervise staff, and ensure guest, owner, and employee satisfaction. Responsibilities include check-in/out, guest services, reservations, and staff training.

The role requires a supervisory background, valid driver's license, and the ability to work varied shifts including overnights. Seasonal employment with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience required (seasonal)
• Staff leadership, coaching, and mentoring experience preferred
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Excellent understanding of computers, systems, and guest service tools
• Must be able to work varied shifts, including overnight shifts

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out and settle guest balances upon departure
• Give guests directions, information, and instructions
• Make reservations for restaurants, transportation, childcare, and activities for guests, FITs, and owners
• Help the front office manager recruit, manage, train, motivate, and evaluate the front desk staff
• Handle cash, credit card, and lift ticket sales daily and log all tickets, vouchers, and gift cards sold
• Balance and close out lift ticket sales at the end of the day
• Proactively solve guest, owner, and employee problems with urgency, respect, and empathy
• Assist with bellstaff and concierge duties, such as fulfilling special guest requests and transporting guests
• Work with the front office manager to develop processes and ensure smooth operation at the front desk
• Assist with staff scheduling, training, and timecard completion
• Check guest requests three days prior to arrival and ensure they are met
• Ensure bell staff maintains vehicles and completes check lists daily
• Other duties as assigned
