Job summary

Under Canvas is seeking a Guest Experience Coordinator at our Zion Virgin location to engage guests, coordinate on-site activities, and act as a brand ambassador. This is a seasonal, hourly role with the option of team member housing for the season.

The position emphasizes strong guest service, teamwork, and the ability to manage multiple tasks across departments while delivering memorable experiences in an outdoor setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in guest‑facing roles within resorts, hotels, or hospitality environments.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Service-minded with a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.
• Genuine, outgoing, friendly, and dynamic.
• Enthusiasm for sharing knowledge of local attractions, landmarks, activities, history, and culture.
• Strong teamwork and adaptability skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist other employees in the department.
• Execute and balance multiple priorities while engaging with on-site guests and arrivals.
• Cultivate and share resources with your supervisor for departmental growth.
• Ensure events and adventures are well attended and received.
• Contribute to on-site operations and maintain high camp standards.
• Communicate with your supervisor about priorities and concerns.
• Work long hours in varying weather conditions.
• Coordinate tasks across departments including Guest Experience, Front Desk, Adventures, Food & Beverage, and Groups.
• Welcome guests, confirm on-site activities, and set the tone for their stay.
• Share knowledge of local attractions and community activities.
