Job summary

Lee Canyon Resort in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Seasonal Host to warmly greet guests, manage waitlists, and seat guests efficiently to support a smooth dining experience. The ideal candidate has prior customer service or hospitality experience, strong communication, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced, high-volume setting, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, hospitality, or restaurant experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Experience in high-volume environments.
• Ability to organize and prioritize under pressure while maintaining a calm and pleasant demeanor.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, co-workers, and management.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties toward the goal of providing excellent guest service in an efficient manner.
• Follow all policies, procedures and service standards.
• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Manage waitlists, server sections, and seating arrangements.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
• Coordinate with servers and management to optimize table turnover.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and entrance area.
• Assist guests with special requests and accommodations.
• Monitor dining room capacity and wait times.
• Thank guests upon departure and invite them to return.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.
