Job summary

Virgin Hotels Las Vegas is seeking a Host/Hostess to warmly greet guests, manage wait times, and escort patrons to dining and bar areas. You will coordinate seating with the team, provide menus, and announce server names to ensure a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure.

Qualifications

• Current, legal and unrestricted ability to work in the United States.
• High School education or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate in English clearly and pleasantly with guests and coworkers, both in person and on the telephone.
• Food Service Handler Card and TABC certification that is currently valid for a minimum of at least 6 months.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests to the venue.
• Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists.
• Manage reservations.
• Escort customers to dining or bar areas.
• Provide menus and announce Waiter/Waitress's name.
• Greet customers upon departure.
• Coordinate with wait staff about seating options.
• Maintain a clean reception area.
• Answer incoming calls and address queries.
• Assist wait staff and ensure supplies and equipment are stocked.
• Ensure SNHD regulations and standards are followed.
• Communicate clearly in English (verbal and written).
• Maintain clean, hygienic work environment and sanitize tables.
• Explain basic details of food and beverages to guests.
• Participate in training sessions and adhere to safety policies.
• Report health and safety incidents to leadership.
