Job summary

Swiftel Communications, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Laborer in Brookings, SD for a part-time Operations role. You will assist our Electric Department with routine maintenance and general grounds keeping, supporting full-time staff.

The position requires independence, reliability, and safety awareness. Must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, and be able to pass a drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Operates a company vehicle, including a small dump truck (CDL not required).
• Perform various duties in regards to maintenance, grounds keeping, and light equipment operation.
• Operate equipment, machinery and tools associated with mowing, raking, and planting.
• Assists with routine maintenance duties when needed.
