Job summary

Columbia Grain International, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Operator to manage grain receiving, storage, and shipping at our complex. You will weigh, sample, and document grain quality, operate conveyors and forklifts, and ensure safe, efficient flow of materials through storage and loading operations.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to read safety rules, operate a computer, and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or equivalent or experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speech; basic computer operations.
• Basic computer literacy and mechanical skills are expected.
• Team-oriented with good attendance and reliable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and open/close slide gates to control grain flow.
• Weigh grain and record data in the computer system; print and sign scale tickets.
• Take samples of all unloaded and loaded grain and record results.
• Maintain charts of storage tanks and bins with location and contents.
• Monitor grades by weighing samples and recording results.
• Operate conveyors, bucket elevators, and storage tanks as needed.
• Prepare rail cars for loading and manage rail car lids safely.
• Operate a forklift and perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Keep work area clean and follow safety policies and procedures.
