Job summary

Scoular is seeking a motivated Scale Operator for a seasonal role through the harvest cycle (mid-December). You will weigh grain, test deliveries, and ensure timely unloading while maintaining strong customer service with Producers/Drivers.

The job requires standing for long periods and working outdoors in varied weather conditions. Responsibilities include truck weighing, data entry, and collaboration with production crews.

Responsibilities

• Receive, weigh and test grain delivered to the facility while providing superior customer service.
• Weight trucks entering and leaving the facility and direct them to loading/unloading locations.
• Probe inbound trucks for commodity samples and enter data into tracking system.
• Maintain cleanliness in office and scale room.
• Greet customers and visitors professionally and direct them as needed.
• Assist with other duties to support operations.
• On-the-job training provided.
