Job summary

Scoular is seeking a motivated Scale Operator for a seasonal role through the harvest cycle, with potential to transition to full-time. You will weigh grain, manage truck flows, and collect samples while delivering strong customer service in a fast-paced environment.

On-the-job training is provided. The position requires outdoor work in all weather and the ability to stand for long periods around grain dust and equipment.

Qualifications

• On-the-job training provided.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to remain standing on hard surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Receive, weigh and test grain delivered to the facility.
• Weigh trucks entering and leaving the facility and direct to loading/unloading.
• Probe inbound trucks to collect commodity samples and enter data into tracking system.
• Maintain clean and presentable office and scale area.
• Greet customers and visitors professionally and direct them as needed.
• Perform other duties to support operations.
