Job summary

Scoular in Salina, KS seeks a dependable Scale Operator for a seasonal role through our harvest cycle, with a chance to transition to full-time. You will weigh grain, sample shipments, and coordinate with drivers and the production crew to keep unloading on schedule.

This position requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and comfort working outdoors in all weather. On-the-job training is provided and safety is a priority.

Responsibilities

• Receive, weigh and test grain delivered to the facility and provide customer service to producers/drivers.
• Weigh all trucks and direct them to loading/unloading locations; coordinate with production.
• Collect commodity samples and enter information into tracking system.
• Maintain clean scale room and office area; assist as needed.
• Greet customers and visitors professionally and route inquiries.
• Support operations with additional duties; on-the-job training provided.
