Job summary

Perdue Farms is seeking a Grain Operator at our Salisbury, NC facility. This seasonal role supports grain movement, quality and care from arrival through storage and shipment, working with a collaborative team dedicated to safety, precision and reliability.

The position offers a base rate of $17.50 per hour with pay premiums, shift differentials and overtime where applicable. An annual bonus is available and helps reward performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years' experience.
• Reading, writing, math and analytical skills.
• Basic understanding of standard computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and maintain grain handling facilities.
• Inspect and calibrate grain testing and weighing equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and sample grain from shipments.
• Provide weighing data for inbound/outbound shipments and assist customers.
• Follow safety/environmental guidelines and company policies.
