Job summary

Perdue Farms is seeking a Seasonal Grain Operator in Salisbury, Maryland to support grain handling, storage and processing operations with a strong emphasis on safety and quality. You’ll work with a team to ensure accurate weighing, sampling and shipping of grain while maintaining equipment and procedures.

The role is full-time seasonal through November, with a base pay of $17.50 per hour plus potential pay premiums, shift differentials and overtime; an annual bonus is available based on

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years of experience preferred.
• Basic math, reading, writing and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and maintain facilities for grain handling, storage and drying.
• Set up, inspect, and calibrate grain testing and weighing equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance; obtain, prepare, test and grade grain samples.
• Respond to customers and provide weighing of inbound/outbound grain shipments.
• Work within safety and environmental guidelines of authorities and company policies.
