Job summary

FS GRAIN, a Northern Illinois grain company with 80 full-time employees and 19 facilities, seeks an elevator operations teammate. Under the location manager, you'll manage grain handling, safety and maintenance, and operate the grain drying system to support daily throughput in the Kankakee area.

You will maintain grain quality, perform blending, and provide professional customer service. This role requires willingness to learn grain handling, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift 51–70

Qualifications

• High school diploma or related agricultural experience.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to learn grain handling.
• Experience with mechanical diagnosis, service, maintenance, and upkeep of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Grain handling including incoming, stored, and outgoing grain.
• Maintain grain quality, blending, and drying services.
• Housekeeping tied to grain handling.
• Compliance with OSHA, state, and federal safety regulations.
• Provide professional customer service to create a pleasant experience.
