Job summary

FS GRAIN, a Northern Illinois grain company, seeks an elevator operator responsible for grain handling, drying, and safety compliance. You will support quality control, maintenance, and customer service at multiple facilities as part of a small, dedicated team.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and a willingness to learn grain handling. Travel and on-call hours may be required in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; basic computer skills preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to learn grain handling processes.
• Experience with mechanical diagnosis and equipment upkeep.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel overnight when needed.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming, stored, and outgoing grain and ensure grain quality.
• Operate grain drying system and perform routine maintenance.
• Maintain housekeeping and ensure equipment is clean and safe.
• Follow OSHA and safety regulations and present a professional image.
