Job summary

FS GRAIN in Northern Illinois is seeking an Elevator Operator to manage grain handling, drying systems, and maintenance under the location manager. You will ensure grain quality, perform housekeeping, and comply with safety regulations while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or related agricultural experience.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn grain handling and equipment basics.
• Experience with mechanical diagnosis, service, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming, stored, and outgoing grain; maintain quality and drying services.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety practices for equipment and facilities.
• Ensure OSHA/state/federal compliance and keep equipment appearance professional.
• Provide professional customer service to create a positive experience.
