Job summary

FS GRAIN, a leading grain company in Northern Illinois, is seeking a location-based elevator operator. You will manage grain handling, storage, and drying operations, while ensuring safety and quality across all processes.

Responsibilities include customer service, equipment maintenance, and adherence to OSHA standards. A high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel or work extended hours are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or related agricultural experience.
• Willingness to learn grain handling and operations.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience with equipment maintenance and basic repairs.
• Basic computer skills to support grain handling.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel/overnight if needed.
• Willingness to work extended hours and on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming, stored, and outgoing grain while maintaining quality.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety around grain handling equipment.
• Comply with OSHA and safety regulations and keep equipment in good condition.
• Provide professional customer service for a positive experience.
