Job summary

FS Grain, LLC in Newark, IL seeks a Seasonal Grain Elevator Operator to assist with grain handling, safety, and customer service under the Facility Manager. The role requires a high school diploma or related agricultural experience, with a focus on independent work and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or related agricultural experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn grain handling procedures.
• Experience with mechanical diagnosis, service, repairs, maintenance of equipment and vehicles.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to travel overnight when needed.
• Ability to work extended hours and be on-call as business requires.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming, stored, and outgoing grain and maintain grain quality.
• Perform grain drying and blending as needed.
• Keep facilities and equipment clean and well-maintained.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety regulations; maintain professional appearance of equipment and facilities.
• Provide professional customer service for a positive customer experience.
