Job summary

Kohler Co. is seeking a seasonal part-time golf operations and maintenance assistant in Kohler, Wisconsin to help maintain world-class courses and landscapes. You will work onsite on weekday and weekend shifts from 5:00am to 2:00pm, contributing to course conditioning and turf maintenance.

Ideal candidates are physically fit, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and able to work in all weather conditions. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Physical strength and stamina for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and use hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining putting and tee surfaces - Hand mowing, ball mark repair, topdressing, rotating placement markers, aerification
• Maintaining fairway surfaces - Divots and general area cleanup, hand-trimming drain tiles, yardage plates and sprinkler heads
• Maintaining manicured roughs, bunker areas, & cart paths - String trimming, fly mowing, hand sweeping/blowing
• General maintenance & labor - shoveling, raking, sweeping, painting, equipment cleaning
• Power equipment usage - Hand-mowers, reel and rotary type, walking top dressers and aerifiers, string-trimmer, bunker rake, hand and walking blowers
