Golf Course Maintenance Worker I, Whistling Straits

Work Mode: Onsite

Location: Kohler, WI

Opportunity

Join our first‑class golf operations and maintenance team, where you’ll work on some of the world’s most admired golf courses, complete with championship‑worthy landscape and the pure excitement of the game.

Specific Responsibilities

• Maintaining putting and tee surfaces – Hand mowing, ballmark repair, top dressing, rotating placement markers, aerification
• Maintaining fairway surfaces – Divots and general area clean up, hand‑trimming drain tiles, yardage plates and sprinkler heads
• Maintaining manicured roughs, bunker areas, & cart paths – String trimming, fly mowing, hand sweeping/blowing
• General maintenance & labor – shoveling, raking, sweeping, painting, equipment cleaning
• Power equipment requirements – Hand‑mowers, reel and rotary type, walking top dressers and aerifiers, string‑trimmer, bunker rake (sand pro), hand and walking blowers, light and medium duty utility vehicles

This is a seasonal part‑time position. Shifts are primarily 5:00 am–2:00 pm, weekdays & weekends.

Skills / Requirements

• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Physical strength and stamina to perform specified duties; e.g., bending, stooping, kneeling, walking, for extended periods of time.
• Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs. and have the ability to use hand and power tools as necessary.
