Job summary

North Carolina State University’s Lonnie Poole Golf Course in Raleigh, NC seeks reliable Grounds Crew team members for a temporary, hourly role. You will assist with landscaping, turf maintenance, and course upkeep under supervision, and may operate golf course equipment.

Responsibilities include mowing, sodding, sprinkler maintenance, and basic fencing/tree work. Minimum requirements: high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift 50 lbs, and ability to work flexible hours including

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs frequently.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods in outside conditions.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including mornings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Landscaping and sodding.
• Cutting grass on tee boxes, fairways, roughs, fringes and greens; golf course upkeep.
• Sprinkler system maintenance, fencing and tree trimming.
• Operate golf course equipment safely and efficiently.
