Job summary

Tryon Fairways Rutherfordton is seeking a part-time Sports Turf/Landscape/Golf Course Attendant. You will perform golf course maintenance activities including mowing, edging, sod laying, tree planting, and turf seeding, while also repairing ball marks and bunker maintenance. Outdoor work in varied conditions is required.

The role emphasizes teamwork, following directions, and readiness for evening and weekend shifts, with a focus on safe operation of maintenance equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old with a valid driver license.
• Must be able and willing to work nights and weekends.
• High School Diploma required
• Must be able to lift/carry 50+ pounds
• Experience Preferred
• Ability to follow directions and work well with others

Responsibilities

• Mowing, trimming, and edging golf course areas.
• Lays sod, plants trees, and seeds turf.
• Repairs ball marks on greens, tees and fairway divots.
• Maintains bunkers and sand traps, changes holes.
• Performs other general maintenance activities and may upkeep maintenance equipment.
