Master Association for Rancho Laquinta is seeking a Player Assistant – Seasonal, Part-time to serve as the on-course ambassador, elevating course ranger duties into a high-touch hospitality role. This position runs from November through May, with a four-day work week and weekend/holiday availability.

The role emphasizes golf etiquette, member engagement, and ensuring pristine course presentation. You will assist with events, live scoring, and guest services while maintaining professional

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of golf etiquette, rules of play, and pace dynamics.
• High-touch customer service skills with diplomacy and communication abilities.
• Professional, polished demeanor aligned with luxury private club standards.
• Ability to operate a golf cart safely and work outdoors in varying weather for extended shifts.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 25 pounds and moving inventory as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor course flow and assist groups in maintaining pace.
• Warmly welcome players and check in to exceed expectations.
• Help preserve course conditions by repairing ball marks and raking bunkers when needed.
• Keep on-course comfort stations stocked with water, ice, and fruit.
• Enforce club rules and assist with weather-related evacuations with tact.
• Support tournaments and member-guest events with logistics and scoring.
