Job summary

Century Golf Partners Management is seeking a Starter/Player Assistant for PGA West Private Courses in La Quinta, CA. The role greets members and guests, informs them of course details, and helps maintain decorum on the course.

Position is part-time, seasonal (October to May). Shifts can be early (6:00am) or closing (sunset). Must have golf knowledge, be punctual and have strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Must have golf knowledge and experience (golf course etiquette, pace of play & care of the course).
• Punctual, friendly and outgoing personality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills and understanding.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members and guests on the first tee or tenth tee and inform them of important golf course information.
• Monitor pace of play and enforce golf course policy (dress code, cart usage, etc.).
• Care for the golf course (rake bunkers, fix ball marks, sweep tee mats, etc.).
• Perform additional duties to support players and course health.
