Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking a highly motivated Temporary Seasonal General Laborer with a great attitude. This role supports day-to-day field operations, ground clearing and tree removal, vegetation management, and general labor duties in Iowa.

This temporary seasonal position is expected to last approximately 6-10 weeks. Pay is $22-24 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience, with travel and field work requiring robust physical effort.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a 5-year clean MVR.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and federal background check.
• Ability to travel out of state.
• Ability to be gone for 2 weeks if needed.
• Ability to lift 50–60 pounds.
• Experience with mowing, weed-eating, or tree removal preferred.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads equipment.
• Performs mowing and weed-eating.
• Performs weed cutting and removal.
• Tree cutting experience is a plus.
• Drives company vehicles.
• Uses all power tools safely.
• Uses all equipment safely.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
