Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) seeks a highly motivated Temporary Seasonal General Laborer with a strong work ethic to support day-to-day field operations, ground clearing and tree removal, vegetation management, and other general labor tasks.

This temporary seasonal role is expected to last approximately 6-10 weeks, offering a competitive pay rate and the opportunity to join a family-oriented construction team in Iowa.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Mowing, weed-eating, tree removal experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a 5-year clean MVR.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and federal background check.
• Ability to travel out of state.
• Ability to be gone for 2 weeks if needed.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads equipment.
• Performs mowing and weed-eating.
• Performs weed cutting and removal.
• Tree cutting experience is a plus.
• Drives company vehicles.
• Uses all power tools safely.
• Uses all equipment safely.
