Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services in Iowa is seeking a highly motivated Temporary Seasonal General Laborer to support day-to-day field operations, including ground clearing, tree removal, vegetation management, and general labor duties. This short-term role lasts approximately 6-10 weeks with pay ranging from $22 to $24 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.

Travel may be required, and a valid driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Valid driver's license with a clean MVR.
• Ability to travel out of state and be away for up to 2 weeks if needed.
• Ability to lift 50–60 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
• Experience with vegetation/grounds maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads equipment.
• Mowing, weed-eating, and weed cutting.
• Tree cutting experience is a plus.
• Drives company vehicles.
• Uses all power tools and equipment safely.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
