Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking a highly motivated Temporary Seasonal General Laborer with a great attitude and strong work ethic. This position supports day-to-day field operations, including ground clearing and tree removal, vegetation management, and general labor duties for construction and maintenance projects across the United States.

This temporary seasonal role is expected to last approximately 6-10 weeks.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Mowing, weed-eating,tree removal experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a 5-year clean MVR.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and federal background check.
• Ability to travel out of state.
• Ability to be gone for 2 weeks if needed.
• Ability to lift 50–60 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
• Prior vegetation spraying, landscaping, painting, tree work, or grounds maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads equipment.
• Performs mowing and weed-eating.
• Performs weed cutting and removal.
• Tree cutting experience is a plus.
• Drives company vehicles.
• Uses all power tools safely.
• Uses all equipment safely.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
