Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking a highly motivated Temporary Seasonal General Laborer with a great attitude and strong work ethic to support day-to-day field operations, ground clearing and tree removal, vegetation management, and general labor duties.

This temporary seasonal position is expected to last approximately 6-10 weeks with pay of $22-24 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a 5-year clean MVR.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Ability to travel out of state and be gone for 2 weeks if needed.
• Ability to lift 50–60 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Prior vegetation spraying, landscaping, painting, tree work, or grounds maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads equipment.
• Performs mowing and weed-eating.
• Performs weed cutting and removal.
• Tree cutting experience is a plus.
• Drives company vehicles.
• Uses all power tools safely.
• Uses all equipment safely.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
