Job summary

GameStop in Covington, GA is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team on a short-term basis, delivering outstanding guest service in a fast-paced holiday sales environment aligned with the Circle of Life buy/sell/trade model.

You will assist customers, help maintain merchandise and store appearance, stock shelves, and contribute to achieving sales and shrinkage goals while upholding store policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, assist with gaming needs, suggest items, and close each sale with gratitude.
• Support store environment and sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Keep store clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist stocking and restocking, transfer from stock room to floor.
• Help meet sales, profit, and shrinkage targets.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate to a store keyholder when needed.
• Follow inventory and loss-prevention practices and safety procedures.
• Adhere to company policies including attendance and confidentiality.
